The Internal Audit Global Department is responsible for providing assurance and consulting services, in an independent and objective way, to all Organizations in Grupo Bimbo. The objective is to help them improve their operations by identifying improvement opportunities and issuing recommendations regarding the effectiveness of their governance, risk management and internal control. Internal auditors carry out audit projects in the 32 countries where Bimbo has operations, working in all phases of the value chain with a risk assessment approach, addressing all the relevant processes that are part of the Company’s management systems.
