JDP - Graduate Trainee Program

In the Administration and Finance area, the company's financial and economic strategy is developed and executed, defining the tax strategy and preparing management control reports.
The A&F area aims to coordinate, control and optimize the development of all activities related to the management of:

• Payments to third parties
• Treasury and collections
• Inventory Control and Fixed Assets
• Taxes
• Accounting reports

The Operations area is responsible for carrying out daily operations at the Oiltanking terminal facilities that represent the company's "core business", which includes the reception, storage, transfer and dispatch of liquid hydrocarbons and chemicals.

The activities are carried out in strict compliance with our Safety, Health and Environment policy, and the quality standards of the industry.
In each operation we show our commitment to our clients, satisfying the quality expectations of the contracted service.
All activities are carried out following safe and effective operating procedures, for which we have trained our employees.
We use effective indicators to measure the performance of our operations and establish excellence objectives.
The variety of activities under the responsibility of the Operations area includes:

• Logistic programming of operations with our clients.
• Storage of products in tanks.
• Loading and unloading of products to trucks, wagons and ships.
• Product transfers through pipelines.
• Mixing and additives of products in tanks or pipes.
• Inventory control and product quality.

During the learning phase in the operations area, the candidate will perform the following tasks:

• On-boarding process of the area and induction in the aspects of Safety, Health and Environment, corporate and private of the Terminal.
• Basic Terminal Operations Training (BOT).
• Assistant in coordination office and operations programming.
• Control room assistant.
• Shift operator performing tasks of measurement and sampling of tanks, loading / unloading of trucks, operations with ships, transfers through pipelines.
• Product quality laboratory assistant.
• Assistant in the certification office for product movements and inventory control.
• Development of a special project under the guidance of the Terminal Manager or one of his delegates.

The Engineering Projects (PI) area oversees development and execution of capital projects for existing terminals or for new businesses.
Projects are classified based on whether or not they generate new financial income for the company.
The projects that generate new income correspond to investments to build new facilities that will make new businesses viable. For these cases, the IP area works in coordination with the Business Development and Commercial areas.
Projects that do not generate new revenue are related to maintaining the integrity of existing assets or to meet new regulatory requirements. These projects are submitted to a review and approval process during the annual budget cycle of each Terminal. Projects are developed following the guidelines of the corporate project management policy, which is based on a sequential phase approval process.

• Familiarization with Oiltanking technical standards (OTTS) and the corporate Project Management Manual (PMHB).
• Participation in the feasibility analysis and development of the conceptual design of projects for new businesses.
• Preparation of cost estimates for capital projects of new facilities or for improvements in existing Terminals.
• Preparation of requests (RfA) for approval of projects to be included in the annual budget of the Terminal.
• Review of technical and engineering studies for new projects.
• Prepare technical specifications for bidding for works in the Terminal.
• Collaborate with the management of contractors that carry out projects in the Terminal.
• Preparation of project progress reports.

The HSSE area supervises, coordinates and controls all activities within the terminal that require attention from the point of view of the risks associated with the operation and responsibilities related to HSSE. Ensuring that operations and maintenance tasks comply with the Oiltanking HSSE Policy. In addition, through example and coordinated programs, he inspires employees and contractors to adhere to the company's safety culture.

Defines the safety goals of the company through the implementation of policies, guides, procedures and safe practices to guarantee a faultless operation and comply with the Zero Accidents goal.

HSSE is the main contact with the community, authorities, clients, neighboring companies and insurance companies regarding environmental issues, security, impact on the community, application of new regulations, etc.

HSSE Goals

• Provide professional support and advice to the company's Management on process safety, personal and property safety, and the environment.
• Implement and coordinate HSSE programs ensuring compliance with the rules and regulations of the countries where the company operates, and the application of the highest standards in terms of health and safety of employees and contractors, the integrity of assets, minimizing environmental impacts and HSSE risks.
• Develop, promote and supervise the HSSE culture.
• Monitor the main performance indicators, both positive and negative, to maintain a process of learning and continuous improvement.
• Assist staff and contractors in complying with relevant legislation, client standards and contractual agreements.
• Provide positive leadership and promote the adoption of best practices.
• Ensure the application in the field of HSSE policies, procedures and guides, ensuring that the best practices of the industry are incorporated and that all legal requirements are met.

• Familiarization with Oiltanking safety standards and policies and the HSSE Corporate Manual.
• Basic training in the main areas of HSSE: personal safety, process safety, protection and conservation of the environment, emergency response, incident and accident reporting, reporting of Unsafe Actions and Conditions.
• Familiarization and use of HSSE platforms for the management of safe operations: Incidents & Measurements, Action Tracking System, MoC Management, Contractor Safety, Inspection Tool, Safety Risk Assessment and Tocica (Unsafe Actions and Conditions).

• Assistant in the field of operations such as measurement and sampling of tanks, loading / unloading of trucks, operations with ships, transfers through pipelines, together with the company's security technicians.
• Assistant in the field of maintenance tasks together with the security technicians of the company.
• Learning of the Emergency Response Plan of the terminal and participation in the planning and execution of drills.
• Preparation of security reports and presentation of the main performance indicators.
• Learning of the legislation, rules and regulations regarding health, safety and environment.
• Learning the main medical check-ups for employees, including induction into first aid training and emergency response in the event of work-related injuries.
• Learning the management and organization of all personal protective equipment (including firefighting equipment), controlling expiration dates and inspection requirements.
• Participation in the coordination and compliance with the employee training matrix on issues related to health, safety and the environment.
• Participation in the analysis of risks associated with operations and in the development of preventive measures (barriers) to improve the safety results of the terminal.
• Participation in the groundwater monitoring program and in the monthly report of the results.
• Participation in the terminal's waste management and emissions control and compliance with all related permits.
• Participation in the reporting and control of all unsafe acts and conditions, near misses, incidents and accidents that are reported at the terminal. Evaluation and analysis of detailed HSSE statistics.
• Participation and learning of the Root Cause Analysis system for the investigation of high potential accidents, incidents and near misses.
